Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data BioPass collects when you browse shopbiopass.com or buy a product, why we hold it, who can see it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01

Who controls your data

BioPass is the data controller for the personal data described here. All privacy questions and requests go to support@shopbiopass.com.

02

What we collect

We keep the data set deliberately small. We collect:

  • Email address — to send your order confirmation and access links, and to answer support messages.
  • Full name — to identify your order and issue a receipt.
  • Country — to apply the correct tax treatment and consumer rules to your order.
  • Order history — which products you bought, when, at what price, and the state of your download links.
  • Support correspondence — the messages you send us and our replies.
  • Basic technical data — such as approximate location derived from IP, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working.
03

What we do not collect

We do not collect health data, biometric data, ethnicity, religious or political views, or any other special-category data. We do not ask for your date of birth, postal address or phone number. We never see or store your full payment card number — card details are handled entirely by the payment provider.

We do not buy personal data from third parties and we do not build advertising profiles.

04

Why we hold it, and on what legal basis

  • Performance of a contract — processing your order, delivering files, providing access links and handling product-related support.
  • Legal obligation — keeping transaction and tax records for the period required by law.
  • Legitimate interest — preventing fraud and chargeback abuse, detecting unauthorised sharing of licensed files, securing the site, and understanding in aggregate which products are used.
  • Consent — only where you actively opt in, for example to non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
05

Marketing

We do not add you to a marketing list simply because you bought something. If we ever send product news, it is because you asked for it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing never affects access to products you have already bought.

06

Cookies

Essential cookies and local storage keep your cart contents and your session working; without them the store cannot function, so they are always on. Any analytics or non-essential cookie is optional and only set after you accept it in the cookie banner. You can clear cookies and site data at any time from your browser settings.

07

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share the minimum necessary with service providers who work on our behalf under contract:

  • The payment provider that processes your transaction.
  • The email provider that delivers confirmations and access links.
  • The hosting and file-delivery infrastructure that serves the site and your files.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

08

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses so that your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

09

How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically several years.
  • Account and access data — kept while your licence is active so you can recover your purchase.
  • Support messages — kept for up to two years, then deleted.
  • Technical and security logs — kept for a short period, normally no more than twelve months.
10

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to order data is restricted to the people who need it to run the store. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify the relevant authority and, where the risk to you is high, we will tell you directly.

11

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what data we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase your data, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy or use is resolved.
  • Provide your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave.

Email support@shopbiopass.com from the address used on your order. We respond within one month; requests are free unless they are clearly excessive or repetitive.

12

Complaints

If something looks wrong with how we handle your data, contact support@shopbiopass.com first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

13

Children

The store is intended for students preparing for exams and for the adults buying on their behalf. If you are below the age at which you can consent to online services in your country, a parent or guardian should make the purchase.

14

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our processing changes or when the law requires it. The version published here is always the current one. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be communicated by email where we hold an address for you.
